If you need flexibility to accommodate your busy schedule, or you feel that you will benefit from learning at your own pace, private lessons with one of our native instructors are for you.

After discussing your personal objectives, our instructors can design a curriculum to address your specific needs.

Use this unique resource to prepare for a test, get ready for a trip or fill in a gap in your knowledge. Some students who take private lessons simply enjoy the skill enhancement that comes from one-on-one conversation with a native speaker.

Private lessons may take place at the AFL classrooms, the teacher's home, or at the student's home or office. Mileage and parking fees will be charged for lessons which take place at a site other than AFL. Cost of textbooks and materials, if any, are additional.

Lessons are purchased in denominations of 5 hours. Further increments are also in 5 hour denominations. Tuition is nonrefundable once lessons begin.
