• The class will be composed of 10 sessions of 2 hours each.
• The emphasis will be on the acquisition of basic skills (spelling/counting/dates) and the practice of introductory conversational skills (introducing yourself, describing others, telling where you are from and where you live, asking simple questions).
• The grammar will focus on the present tense of high frequency verbs, simple declarative and interrogative phrases, the difference between the use of “tu” and “vous”.
• Vocabulary will focus on basic greetings and conversational strategies, descriptive adjectives, understanding addresses/phone numbers/directions and parts of the house and its furnishings.
• The goal of the class is to give you a solid foundation with which to engage in basic conversations of an introductory nature.
